Open Top - Steel Drum 220L ( 55 gallon )
 

Characteristics and production – metal drum

220L Open drum with a galvanized or painted metal lid which is comfortable for filling and discharging.  The lid can come with or without a cap.  The drum is manufactured from Cold Rolled Steel which is a high quality steel.  The drum is available in different colors and with logo printing according to customer’s needs. 

This product was designed according to the international UN standards and is highly resistant.  This drum is resistant to climate changes and it is possible to roll it as well as stack it high.  It is intended for storage and transportation of liquids and hazardous materials in the sea, air and land.     

Lacquer application

This drum is also available with an internal lacquer application made by Greif.  The drum has FDA certification for storage and transportation of different food products, etheric oils, and other products that come in direct contact with the drum.  This drum is also suitable for the storage and transportation of corrosives, chemicals and more.

The open top steel drum serves as an ideal packaging solution for a wide range of industries such as: chemicals, powders, poisonous waste, foodstuffs and more.

Product’s resistance      

This product was designed to assure ease of transportation and reducing transportation costs owing to its strength and resistance to mechanical stress on one hand, and light weight on the other hand.
